Sandra Hoferichter
My Cv
I hold a degree in engineering and architecture from the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK) and worked as an independent architect from 1997 to 2011.
Since 2005, I have increasingly focused on issues of Internet regulation. I have led projects such as the European Summer School on Internet Governance (EuroSSIG) on behalf of Medienstadt Leipzig e. V., an association I have chaired since 2020.
On my website at hoferichter.eu, I share how my path led from architecture to Internet governance, and what these two fields have in common.
Today, my professional focus is on fostering cooperation between diverse stakeholder groups and developing participation processes that are inclusive and transparent. I am especially committed to adult education and to involving young people in the debate on digital policy.
